Hello there. I have an old Rogers Dynasonic snare drum that I'm trying to put a date on and from what I've read there are some people here that can help me out. Here is what I do know that may be of some help. I included some pictures as well. Thanks in advance!

Serial # 24226

Dimensions: 14" x 5 1/2"

10 Lugs

Chrome over Brass

"Rogers" script logo

"Custom Built" logo

5 etched lines around the shell

Late 1960's....guessing around '68-'70.

TommyP (Rogers expert extraordinaire) will soon chime in, or maybe a visit from the Ploughman..

You're getting pretty good at this... I may be out of a job!!! LOL!! kieflogic: With a serial number of #24226, it would date your drum at 1970, Fullerton CA production. By 1970 the COB Dynasonic's were quite ubiquitous and very popular. Quality was still good on these "early" Fullerton production Dynasonic's. Enjoy your drum!
