Got me stumped!Help2Hmmmm

Looks like a clip on BD hoop tom mount, but the tom would be resting on the BD then!

Maybe somebody cobbled this together?

i'm certainly not a rogers guy, but i do know that rogers made a swivo type hoop mounted tom holder with a spade. i had a chance to buy one on dfo and passed on it and another member got it. that sure looks like it. neat piece!

here is one. too pricey for me though...

Blair, It looks to me that someone cut down the rod and re-added the spade to the mount..The mount should have chrome all around the rod and spade...What does the piece look like under at the rounded piece under the hoop clamp?...Mikey

I do recall when working at a music store, that Rogers sold all of those hardware items in individual pieces. Ours were stored in a metal bin like you would find at a hardware store for various bolts. You could create all sorts of cool things with the replacement parts. In other words, one could cobble something like this without necessarily pulling an existing piece apart. I used to make all sorts of crazy custom mounts.

If you put the clamp on the right part of the bass hoop (off to the side or at around 10 o'clock?) it will work just fine with a rack tom.

That was used to mount a tom down low, off to the side of the bass...
