ok, so what is it?
guy says it has no badges. Heres the funny thing, he wants $3000AUS for it. No joke.
I repeat ... Nope. I'd walk.
Sometimes the details don't need to be spelled out when you're dealing with the unethical. It was quite apparent from the way you presented the question that you had been lead to believe this was a cool Rogers kit. It is not. The man is a crook and lacks ethics.
Done and done. Move along.

I like your style. Officially moved along.
No way a 1980s Rogers set..Why first thing look at the 12" mounted tom 8 lugs per a side...Wrong lugs on all the drums to be Rogers bass drum leg mounts wrong not Rogers...To me that set is a 60s M.I.J. Crown set of drums..Crown was the only set M.I.J. with 8 lugs on the toms....Price should be more like 200.00-300.00 U.S.,,,Mikey
Perhaps the high price is due to the Planet Z's and ZBT's (if I'm not mistaken) ;)...
hey guys. sorry if you were given lack of info. but this is my set and i was told it was a rogers. iv been on here asking what is was and how much it would be worth. sorry for the inconvienince and no the pice wasnt $3000 coz of the planet z cymbals and i am not a crook and do not lack any ethics. so you are deffinately mistaken there. i did not know what it was or the value of it. iv been searching for valuers over in Australia and could not find any but someone got me onto this forum to try and find
im sorry if my lack of knowledge and high price has offended you but i was obviously given the wrong info.
thought people on here were more understanding but was obviously wrong. ask before judging
Just kidding, man.
Theoretically, I guess everyone is allowed to ask (price wise) what he/she wishes. It's up to the potential buyer to decide whether it's worth it.
Of course, if you are misinformed about what you have, you might ask more than (most) people would pay. On the other hand, some people don't know what they have and ask "too little"... You won't hear many people complain then (no offense, I like bargains too :D)
If the person who told you that this was a Rogers, sold this to you, he/she may or may not have been telling what he believed to be true.
I'm not knowledgeable enough about vintage drums, but I think I can trust the posts above saying this is not worth as much... So I just honestly hope you didn't pay 3000 for it yourself.
:2Cents:
Ask bofore judgeing,...WTF,....ASK WHO ??..No-one here was given anything but the opening post to comment on. Many of the guys here are far more expierenced than the rest of the drum world out there and to see a rediculious price on a phony Rogers is insulting their intellegence !!
Why don`t you take your own advice and ask before jugeing value ?
We knew the opening poster was misinformed, but who knew you were ??
Before bashing the people here about their integrity you should you should take your own damn advice !!
An un-informed, over priced, seller with an attitude is a fine example of unethical !!
If ya gonna take a shot in the dark,...don`t b*tch about the damage you cause to those at the ready !!
