What is the difference between the Ludwig 1283 and 1286 Last viewed: 3 days ago

Both of them indicate they are hard felt beaters..

I cannot find where there is a difference

They may have different shaft lengths. The hardness of the felt may be slightly different. They can be seen to have slightly different mechanisms for attaching the beater to the shaft on top:
