I saw this old drum on ebay - the link here - and bid on it mostly for the badge. Well - it is a cool old drum, but I was looking for a badge.

A couple of days go buy and in my spare time I checked the drum out more and read the seller's description which states the drum is missing the 'badge'....hu? But the badge is right there in the photo.

I think if someone is going to sell a drum 'without' a gretsch badge they should not put a drum 'with' a Gretsch badge in the photo. Especially only ONE photo.....that clearly shows the badge.

What do you think?

Okay - I saved the photo and then zoomed in. Maybe there is no badge there at all.

If you looked at this drum - at face value - in that listing.....would you not think that this is an old Dupont Color (Duco) drum with a grungy ole Gretsch badge on it? Sure looks like it to me.

It's my fault for not reading the description right away. The way the photo is taken makes me think there is a badge there.

The seller is up front stating there is no badge so it is mistake for not reading it....I admit that. Too quick to 'pull the trigger' haha. :o

But you have to be....look who I'm competing with......

eBay ads....sheesh!
