So I picked this late 30's early 40's snare up the other day. It did not come with a badge. I'm cleaning it up and was going to put a badge on it but the WFl badge appears to be from the early 50s. Do you think I should put the wrong WFL badge on it or is A badge better than no badge.?Mister T

Some zephyr lug drums were made sans badge, some had a small Ludwig decal. I'd leave it as is.

I agree with BEC,..Your drum came from the factory without a badge as far as I know. So don`t put one on it !!
