Did these companies ever make kits in 12/14/20 configurations?

But that's the Slingerland catalog. Weren't the Radio King drums produced earlier--or maybe I'm missing something?

I've seen WFL 20/14/12 sets from around 1958.

Anyone have any photos or catalog shots of 12/14/20 radio kings or WFLs?

Catalog shamtalog. That's an obsessive, useless, and meaningless mind set. Those sizes of drums (20-12-14) were offered by virtually all manufacturers in the years when WFL drums were made, and when Slingerland used the Radio King moniker for their upper line of drums (not all Radio Kings were made with solid shells). A drummer, through a Slingerland or WFL dealer, could order drum sets comprised of those sizes. If there weren't pictures of that configuration in the catalog, that does not mean a 20-12-14 set of WFL or Slingerland Radio King drums was not offered. People who know me are aware that I have little patience for catalog-correct drum police. I bought several new drum sets in the 1960's and 1970's from music stores in the Chicago area where most of the drums were manufactured. I can't remember ever being able to point to a catalog page to identify any of my new drum sets as being on page so and so. Very few of the vintage drum sets I've owned over the years replicate outfits in the catalogs corresponding to the year of manufacture.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
