Before I buy anything on EBAY I wanted to post what I'm looking for here first. I am seeking a 60's era 22-13-16 kit in sky blue pearl, blue oyster pearl or black diamond pearl, I am also looking for a 60's snare matching one of these kits and/or a 60's Acrolite or supraphonic. I am only looking for really nice specimens as I only have room and finances for 1 kit and I want it to be a really nice one. I truly dislike EBAY due to how much $ they and Paypal take from people and don't want to contribute to their greed, just hoping someone here may be able to provide some options.

Fatty: I truly dislike Ebay too, they abuse sellers and nowadays prople its pretty much working for them. They support chill bidding, scams and any form of abuse as soon as they can profit out of it. This is the place to look for vintage drum stuff!!!!! God bless the VDF!!!!!!!!!!!Clapping Happy2Clapping Happy2Clapping Happy2

Bump! Will consider any color as long as condition is good, no extra holes, lifting seams, etc.

Would you be interested in a "re-wrap" set?

I've got 60s "orphans" in 14x22, 14x24, 16x16, 10x14, & 2-9x13s. All with the wrap already gone, and was thinking of ordering some 60s BOP to resell a "Ringo" reproduction kit (had good luck with that before). But hadn't ordered the wrap yet... so these could be anything.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Hi,

I have an early pre-serial # Ludwig sky blue pearl with matching pre-serial snare with vintage Gretsch 42 strand wires. The floor tom is not Ludwig and unfortunately there are no identifying badges or stamps. All the Cymbals and hi-hat are Vintage early 1950's stamp Zildjan including rare 24" except for one pre-serial 20" Paiste formula 602. Included is vintage Ludwig cowbell holder as well as original vintage Ching Ring. The hi-hat pedal is a vintage WFL Speed King and bass drum pedal is a Vintage Rogers Swivomatic. On the bass drum one of the bands is partially missing.

I will be listing them for sale so if you are interested let me know.. Otherwise good luck in your search.

Let me give you a piece of advice... Pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Just wondering if you're still looking for this kit?

Thanks!
