Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share some news about a venture I've been working on.

I'm now the new proud owner of Walberg & Auge!

I've purchased/registered the Walberg and Auge Inc name and trademarks.

W&A is now registered... as a non-profit corporation.

The name and trademark have been defunct/available since 1983.

I own the domain name: http://www.walbergandauge.com/ (that was available too) The site is up and running.

I also created the Walberg & Auge Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/walbergandauge/

For those not familiar with Walberg and Auge, they were a drum hardware manufacturing company that made hardware (such as snare, tom and hi-hat stands) for drum companies such as Ludwig, Gretsch, Slingerland, Camco, Leedy, Kent and maybe more.

It could be said that every drum set manufactured from one of the major American drum companies from the 1930's - 1960's had/has a piece of Walberg and Auge hardware on their drum sets.

Walberg & Auge also custom made high quality snare drums and drum sets in limited numbers, using Gretsch shells with a variety of Gretsch, Rogers, Ludwig hoops and lugs.

My purpose(s) for to taking on this hobby/venture are to:

1. Preserve and restore the historical significance and musical instruments of the most important, innovative American drum company.

2. Bring back Walberg and Auge as an American icon and brand with the prestigious stature it once had years ago.

3. Commission/Develop/Publish a book on the history and significance of Walberg and Auge.

4. Start designing custom Walberg and Auge drum sets that stay true to the attributes of W&A kits from yester-year.

For more W&A historical info, check out Chet Williamson's blog on W&A. http://jazzriffing.blogspot.com/2013/03/world-renowned-walbergs-of-worcester.html

Feel free to send me all things Walberg and Auge (info, pics, etc)

Thanks for reading this announcement. I've received much support and interest from family and friends!

We are really excited to bring back Walberg and Auge!!

-Jeremy Esposito

Great news - it's always good to see people with enough passion to undertake something like this: not easy, to say the least...

All the very best Jeremy, I'm sure people in here will do everything in their power to help. Good luck :)

Stunning news, and dear to my heart as a MA native and someone who has worked near and passed by the area where those drums and hardware were made many times. Congrats and best wishes. Keep us up to date on your progress.
