Vistalites?

Loading...

Hi Guys, I haven't been on here for a while but was looking for a rough value on a set of 70's era B/O badge Ludwig Vistalites.

The details:

12,13,16,18,24" smoke Vistas. All shells in nice shape. The only crack is on the bass drum at the tom mount. Small, about 1" in length. All badges are missing, 18" floor legs are not Luddy's, and hoops are missing inlays. Other than that everything else is intact.

They are in pieces right now, otherwise I'd post pics. I'm selling these to a good friend, so I'm trying to find the market value and what a fair selling price would be to him.

Any help/ guesses would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Ludwig Vistalite (smoke)12,13,16,18,24
MIJ (tiger eye pearl) 12,13,16,20,14x5
Yamaha Gig Maker (white grape) 10,12,14,20,14x5
Peavey Radial Pro (red) 8,10,14,16,22,14x5.5
Tama Superstar (white) 6,8,10,8,10,12,13,14,16,18,20, two 22's, 14x5.5

I'd start somewhere around $400-500. Just my lame opinion. Photos might help.. Just curious as to why the missing badges on everything? :)

Yikes! I hope they're worth more than that. I've got that much into them already without heads!

Difficult to say without photos, but I would think 600 to 800. The missing badges will de-value the kit, and the crack will knock some off too. But, a buyer may like the 24" bass and the extra 18" floor tom.
