Vintage Slingerland 5 piece set with cymbals, hardware, and cases! Last viewed: 21 hours ago

I recently posted my drum set for sale up on Craigslist. Thanks to Creighton for suggesting I put it on this forum.

This is my childhood set....my baby!! But I'm finally ready to let it go. Please check the Craigslist posting for more information. I'm happy to share more pictures or answer any questions if interested.

Nice drums! I just love those. I have a set of the walnut stained Slingerlands and they are great drums. Man, I would like to have your 10x14 rack tom. Good luck with your sale.

Nice drums. My first new Slingerland kit was the same finish. Wish I still had them.

I'm bumping this back up to the top to ask the forum a few questions.

Honestly it's hard to let it go so I only half-assed put my set up for sale and took a stab at a reasonable price. For those of you that frequent this page, what could I do more to get this set out there and sell it?

My ideas were take more pictures, post the pics on here instead linking to Craigslist or Ebay, reduce price?, offer to pay for shipping if someone pays full price?

Those are some thoughts I was having on my next move.

What say you, forum?

For sure more pictures and details on everything would help. What kind of snare drum is that? And to what extent do the floor tom leg brackets need to be repaired? Do you have them, are the stripped out, etc...? If it's a easy fix I would so it's a non issue. If the brackets pulled out of the wood shell and there's damage it could affect price. So you really need to paint a clear picture for best results here and elsewhere.
