Hi Anders,

Yes, I have. But in the meantime I found out that it's obviously for a marching snare unit. It's width is longer than for the 'normal' 2000 Prem snare drum. As only the outer parts are affected, this part could easily be rasped away (in case you have a 2000 and not a marching snare), without affecting the function. It's just 'too much cast iron' out there.

If the space between the screws are the same as the 2000 part it's easy ;)

I'm still on but it depends om the price.

I've got Premier original unused 12 part strainers with the hook, not the holes. I think it is for the Ace snare so I don't need them. Do you think someone does.

And in that case what is a reasonable price I've got 4 (two pair)

Your wires can be bought new/ replicas (?) in UK at around GBP 40. But I'm not familiar whether this is a common price or not. You just need the one buyer who is keen on them ;-)
