Vintage Ludwig "Pattern F" to sell Last viewed: 4 hours ago

See pictures on page 2 !!!!!!!!

I am the original owner of a complete vintage Ludwig set....rare "Pattern F".

The set has been stored in my home since 1978, when I stopped playing

professionally. I only used this set for 3 years before that. The set is all

intact as the day I brought it home from the store. I even have the original sales slip

from 1975.

Set includes base drum w/original curved spurs; matching snare; floor tom and

double top mounting toms;

all original "WeatherMaster" heads w/Ludwig logos all the Ludwig Atlas stands;

drum keys; drummers throne;

Zildjian hi-hat cymbals; 18" Zildjian "sizzler" cymbal w/rivets; 21" Zildjian

rider cymbal

This set is in excellent condition, and I have decided to sell it after all

these years, but I'm not sure what price range I should be asking. I know the

Pattern F is a rare one.......and I've seen other vistalite sets on ebay for

thousands of dollars.

Can you give me an idea of how I should go about selling my set, and/or price range?

There are NO cracks in any of these shells. Matter of fact, they are not even scratched!.

How do I submit a photo?

W-e-l-c-o-m-e (I detest those pesky little cartoons that replace a good word). As has already been stated, we need pictures to even guess at giving you any answers. The old saying around here is that it does not exist without pictures of it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Welcome@ In order to post pics, while you are opening a thread or replying, scroll down the page. There will be a button that says "Manage Attachments" then another box will appear. Within the top position of that box will be another button, Search Files, click it and then once you have your file, click the "Upload" button...you can do this up to 5 times.

Where are you located? I'd be interested.

OK guys............

Wanted to take my time cleaning up the drums first, but I see the picture is vital to even getting started. I'm new at this. Pictures will be posted tomorrow.

Drums are rare "Pattern F"....blue and white vertical stripe.

I am located in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Thank you all for your patience.

Cool sounding set would like to see some photos..Yes it true that the pattern "F" is rare but to me is not the rarest of the Ludwig vistalites..I would say the pattern "D" three band swirl is the hardest one to fine in this line of drums..In over 30+ years in vintage drums i have only seen one set of these..I have seen many of the pattern "F" drums..Mikey

Welcome and I would love to see pictures as well. I picked up a pattern F in blue and white a year ago for my son but the bass drum needs some crack repair. Luckily it was extremely cheap and came with enough hardware and cymbals to make it worth it even if I can't get the bass drum repaired.
