When I watch this, several random thoughts pass through my mind, in no particular order:

1 - He has great hair for a 25 year-old let alone a 65 year-old.

2 - He has the physique of a whippet.

3 - His talent has not diminished with age.

4 - He is without doubt an astonishing drummer.

5 - David Coverdale must be envious of him for points 1-3.

6 - David Coverdale must love him for point 4.

7 - I love Tommy for points 1-4 but mainly for point 5.

"If 'A' equals 'success' in life then 'A' equals 'X' plus 'Y' plus 'Z' where work equals 'X', 'Y' is play and 'Z' is keeping your mouth shut" - Albert Einstein.

1938 8"x15" Leedy Broadway Standard
1947-53 14x6.5" NOB Ludwig & Ludwig Universal
...plus a bunch of mismatched Slingerlands that collectively make a pleasing noise.

I love his drumming. I got a pair of his signature sticks the other day. Holy moly those things are true trunks. Now I see why he is in that type of shape, swinging those things around.

Looking for a late 80's to early 90's, preferably Arctic White Pearl MLX 14x14 floor tom.

I agree with Gerard. Although Whitesnake is not my cup of tea, I wish I had hair like that now, let alone when I'm 65!

Great player though, you can't deny it...

I saw him with Pat Travers at the Old Waldorf. Now Pat Travers kicked ass ,but Tommy Aldridge just elevated that show to "knock your socks off".His solo really rocked.1976 I think it was....

Tommy has always been one of my favorites. My rack from my wedding kit used to belong to him on the first Whitesnake tour he did way back in '87-88.

His sticks are oak, 17" long and a touch over 5/8" thick.
