Spend the money on a decent throne. Your buttocks will thank you and you may find that you actually want to play more often, believe it or not, when you move up to a good throne from something less than stellar. I know I did. You can get a roc n soc at Piano's N Stuff, in Blawnox, for 99 bucks. All the usual online music gear retailers offer similar deals on the same or similar thrones, and usually you can find free shipping on them. If you have bought from them before, they are probably flooding you with online coupons that could also shave the total price down even further.

You will be at or near 50 bucks buying anything used from a forum or ebay, when you figure in shipping, and those vintage thrones are like riding a BMX bike all day, when playing.......

drumhack has a point for sure. though I checked n-stuff music and the basic roc-n-soc looks to be 139.95. may have to spend some coin on a throne....

I bought a Roc n Soc from a forum member and wow it's a comfy throne!! Very heavy duty too, built to last. Every throne I've had before this one broke either at the seat baseplate welds or tubing failure.

I've got a super solid Slingerland "Relaxon" base that needs a seat.

Mix 'n match, hit me up if you want the base.
