Welcome and bout time you jumped in here......The Band
If these guys don't know the answer to a question about vintage drums no one does....
Thanks to all of you for the kind words.
We have a lot of fun doing these clinics for the music teachers at the middle school. It’s done my heart good to see many of the kids continue their music careers into high school and hopefully beyond. In today’s economy, a lot of them have lost the ability to take private lessons and be exposed to all the neat things music can do for them. With the help of the many sponsors we have been fortunate to get along the way and people that love drums and music, (all of you), we try to give them a couple of hours to try and make up for a little of what they miss. I challenge each of you contact your local middle or grade school music teachers and volunteer some time to help the kids in the percussion section learn how to tune their drums, play some rudiments or fills, or hold their sticks. Most of the teachers will jump at the chance, the kids will love you for life, and you will feel that you helped kids have fun with music, and believe me it’s the best feeling in the world
Now I’ll get off my soapbox!!
