that is quite the beauty. More than a drum, historical art piece. I would think whoever did the work would of or might of signed it. Any name or initials inside?

That is an amazing work of art! I hope you post its history and background on your site if you have success researching it. It must have been a custom made gift or created just to display inlay artistry. The only example I've ever seen of such detailed inlay was on a rope-tension drum. Congratulations on an exceptional acquisition.
