The Black Beauty Find Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hi guys,

I'm going to buy the Black Beauty from this thread:

http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=41325

Tom, the owner is located just south of Chicago. I need for one of my -knowledgeable- drum buds to check this drum out for me. I'm making a large investment in this instrument and I just want to make sure everything is 'Kosher' with the drum -before- I fork over the moola-boola. I think Tom is willing to drive half way to meet you if you're in or near Chi-town

Can anybody meet Tom and have a look at this drum for me? PM me or respond here. Hey, it's chance to check out a rare drum! If you call me when you're with Tom, I'll walk you through the inspection process. You don't have to be a Black Beauty expert. Let me know asap. I want to get the deal done in a timely manner.

Thanks in advance...

John

PS - Good Lord, I just noticed I've written over 5000 posts! I really need to start spending more time with my wife!

Gary, you're on bro! I'll pm you. Let me get with tom and see what we can coordinate between us. Thank you! Like I said, if you call me when you're with Tom, I'll walk you through the inspection. You da man!

Check your pm's.

Thanks for the kind words, Big. :p

Apparently I'm one of those personalities that you either love, or love to hate. Not many luke-warm in-betweeners. As many friends and acquaintances as I have here, I still have to watch my 6 for 'friendly-fire' snipers. LOL

*Tom - Click on jaghog's name above. Select; 'Send Private Message to Jaghog'. Gary will be the one who will meet you to inspect the drum for me. You guys coordinate your schedules among yourselves and just let me know what you've arranged. I'll be on the phone with Gary while you're together. If you can send me more photos of the drum from all angles to my home email address, it'll help me to eliminate unnecessary questions that the pix can answer for me.

I'm psyched... looking forward.

John wow~~!!! Mind Blowi Glad to see your working a deal on it and best to both partys. It is indeed a Beauty! I was watching a Steve Maxwell vid the other morning.....he was doing a demo on a WMP classic and was using a BB snare. Man it sounded sweet. Have you ever had one of these before?

And Tom very cool of you to offer it to VDF members first. So many come here for values then scoot off to Ebay or CL. Thumbs up to you Sir! I hope your able to get your son a nice DW kit. :)

Well done guys!

Glenn.
