I recently purchased some fairly rare Star parts from Rene Martin, owner of King Street Percussion in Cornwall, Ontario (drums2xs on VDF ). His prices were more than fair and the delivery time was amazing! When I opened the package, there was a mint condition Star badge that I'd been seeking for months. I had not ordered this. Along with the badge, there was a note stating that the badge was included simply because Rene knew that I collected Stars and thought that I might enjoy the badge. What a remarkable gesture. Thanks, King Street Percussion!

p.s. sorry about the following "bump up" on another post. It's for a good cause.
Rene is a true gentleman! He goes out of his way to make customers feel like they are important human beings. That's the way it should be. He tells it like it is, offers good products and delivers like a silver bullet! I know from previous emails that he has struggled to make his business a success. I really urge all members to keep this fine young man in mind when thinking vintage drums. He is a wonderful asset to this great forum.
