I was thinking of adding a Cymbal arm on my 1967 22" Club Date.
I do not like the mount that attaches to the hoop.
I want to get it professionally drilled.
My question to all you experts is:
Is there a template to ensure the holes are drilled exactly as Ludwig
would have located the mount?

you can make your own template as well.
use cardboard
Insert a small pencil, screw, nail, etc into the mounting bosses on the mount.
Press the mount onto a piece of cardboard, puncture it and now you have your holes for mounting.
Trace around the outside of it and you now have your template.
