Hi and welcome jeffreyw. There is an Australian Collectors Group sticky thread under the General section of this forum, also a good place to introduce yourself and meet other locals. Just to let you know I will soon be selling my mid 50's WFL kit. It's Black Diamond Pearl 22,13,16, with matching wood snare and all correct hardware, all in excellent condition. Very rare in these parts, I've never heard of another in Australia so it won't be the cheapest vintage kit for sale but it's gotta be on of the best, let me know if this is something your looking for.
Stevo, I'm after something red sparkle Slingerland too, may the best man win!
No worries Josh!
Thanks for the challenge. Where abouts are you? If it's the eastern states,
I may be at a disadvantage in lil' ol' Adelaide.
But as you say may the best man win!

Hey Stevo, I'm in Melbourne. With the aussie dollar the way it is it's a great time to buy from the US. Postage is always a killer but in the end it can work out pretty good as vintage slingerland sets can go for cheap in the US.
Cheers
Thanks Josh,
You are spot on, Slingerlands do seem to fetch less coin than other
vintage US drums, which is good if you're buying.
