Super Sensitive Part Question Last viewed: 2 days ago

Loading...

I am looking for a housing with cam slide for a 1978 Super Sensitive strainer, I think it is part number P-1155A in the Ludwig catalog, in very good to excellent condition. The tension rod on mine is bent and loose where it attaches to the housing. Or, where can I order a new one? I tried posting this in the "Wanted" section but didn't get a response so I am hoping someone sees it here.

Ebay is your best bet. SS parts are hard to come by. There are always only a few pieces being offered at any given time.

If it's the plastic slider that needs replacing, it's an easy fix. If the screw is bent, or loosened, in the post, then you're dead in the water and need to replace the entire part. I've tried seven ways from Sunday to straighten out those strainer tension screws with no luck at all. As straight as they look after manipulating, the wheel (and by default, the slide,) never travels right after that. Check the bay. They do come up for sale.

Too many great drums to list here!
