Dear VDF,

What the heck is this? Some Franken-Conn-Leedy gone wrong or an actual invention? Any info appreciated!

With an early parallel action snare system? It's pretty out. The wrap has definitely been... well, I don't know if redone is the word.

Just wondered if someone had details.

Love it! The wrap looks like the piece of boa skin that Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is tracing down on "Blade Runner"...

Now that's an interesting piece! I'd love to know if there's any markings inside. It's current location in Slovenia hints to its origin. Notice the unique snare strainer. It's not a parallel mechanism; the butt end of the snares are fixed into the plate/rim. Wish the buyer would start a thread on this unusual animal.

What a cool drum! Thanks for the post.

Great job of making a drum with very few parts.
