Do most of you rock the 6.5 Supra with the stock snare wires? Or has anyone tried it with 42 strands instead?

i'm a big fan of stock ludwig wires. but i too have been tempted to put some 42's on mine. i have a set that someone put on a ludwig standard snare when i bought it.

didnt bonham play 42s on his 402?

I believe he did. I'm tempted to try it. After all, I could keep the stock wires on my BB and set the Supra up different like this...

I have played 42's for quite a while it is IMP the only way to go , go big or go home.... :) makes another type beast out of a 402
