Slingerland lug help! Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Loading...

Hi to All,

Trying to finish up one of those end of the year school projects. I'm in need of a single Slingerland tom lug with 1 and 1/2" spacing (see photo)to put this tom back together for the school. The one that needs replacing cracked and although I tried Metal Weld it will not hold. It doesn't need to be pretty and I have the spring ,insert, and mounting screws. If anyone has one that needs a new home and would sell reasonably or donate please PM me. I'm hoping to get this back to them before the end of the school year. I don't charge the schools for any parts or labor for these repairs, just trying to help out when I can.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance to all

Thanks to Kevins!

I've got quite a few of these lugs, too, should you need anymore.

To All

Just wanted to say a special THANK YOU to Kevins for the lug he was kind enough to donate . It arrived and is actually better than the ones currently on the drum! I'm finishing it up today so the school will have the kit for their graduation program. Many of you on the forum have been kind enough to donate parts such as the above Slingerland lug to help me bring a lot of drums back from the brink for the schools to reuse. Since all of these projects are at no cost, without your help this would not be possible! Please know that the teachers, students and of course the" old dad roadie" are grateful!

All the Best!!!

All-in-all, we have a pretty darn good community of drummers, willing to pitch in when asked! Glad you were able to rescue the drum and have it ready for graduation!
