First photo is vintage snares. `81 Gretsch COB, `66 Ludwig Acro, `74 Slingy COB, `60 Slingy COB, `65 Slingy COB, `67 Rogers Dyna.
Second photo is newer snares. Worldmax, Yamaha, Ludwig.
Here's a shot just taken of some of my snare drums in the "drum room" at my girlfriend's house. More lighting would have helped, but hope you can see what I've got. A few drums are hidden behind the 1971 Slingerland Modern Solo 2R!

Just some of your snare drums ?? LOL !.. Awesome collection !
My modest "seven pack". I recently let go of a beautiful COB Krupa that needs to be replaced and I can't believe there's not a Supra or Acro in the the herd...or any Ludwig for that matter.
Some more details on these.
I affectionately call the Rogers a "Holi-tone" because it was originally a Holiday model (Holiday tag #31069). It would've had B&B lugs and rounded bearing edges. A previous owner had replaced the B&B lugs with Slingerland Sound King lugs. Another owner removed the Sound King lugs and replaced them with Rogers Beavertails. He also had the bearing edges cut to replicate a Powertone and replaced the rest of the hardware with Powertone hardware. A bit of a Frankenstein, but it looks great and sounds great too.
I don't know much about the L&S (Leedy & Strupe). It sure looks like chrome over brass to me, but were drums being chrome plated in the 1930's? It does not seem like nickel to me. The drum did not come with a badge and I don't believe the internal dampener is original. I think it was Mark Cooper who told me the strainer is not original although there are no extra holes (except for the dampener). All of the slotted hex rods are present and the drum came with a very cool original hex tuning key.
Both Camco snares are Oaklawn with COB hoops. The Blue Moire drum is a Super 99. I am looking for a couple of parts for the Super 99 if anyone is sitting on Camco parts (I need a screw and backing plate for where the snare gate screws into the bottom hoop and a knob screw for the butt side of the Super 99 mechanism). I'm getting close to breaking down the Super 99 for detailing. The 3D Tuxedo is a re-wrap, but it looks fantastic. My most recent acquisition is a proper Camco tuning key for to display in the key holders on these.
The Sonor has a bit of provenance. I bought it directly from Soup Dragons/Teenage Fanclub drummer, Paul Quinn. Paul is also a very gifted songwriter/singer who fronted his own band The Primary 5 before transitioning to a producer/studio manager in Bellshill, Scotland. Paul told me he used this snare on all of the Teenage Fanclub albums he played on and tours as well as his Primary 5 albums. He told me "back in the day" several producers wanted to buy this drum from him, and R.E.M. wanted to record with it. Paul is a very nice guy so I don't doubt his claim. I'm a huge fan of the band Teenage Fanclub and when I saw he was selling this drum I had to have it. I sure wish I had the kit to go with it!
I think the real here is my Marble Lacquer Radio King. I can't tell if it is a single or 3-ply shell. Like my Camcos, I've got the matching kit to go with it. This one will definitely get passed down to my son who is also a drummer.
Honorable mention goes out to the Hammond organ bench these are sitting on. It is part of my 1954 Hammond B-3.
Here I go....
Humble bunch... particularly considering other real collections suchs a Ploughman's, Purdie's, among other finest members of the forum...
But, in other hand, living at Buenos Aires -5587 miles away from Chicagoland- I guess it's not so bad !!! Laughing H
Glad to share with you guys!
Here's a few of mine that I had on display at the local community center some time ago with an old J.W. York & Sons bass drum. Unfortunately, space was limited.
