30 years ago I wouldn't be caught dead listening to SNF, but today driving around I listened carefully to "Night Fever" and that drummer is really smokin'...looked him up and it's a gent by the name Dennis Bryon? Never heard of him before...but he really makes that track! Just sayin'

Irony of this is that for most of that stuff...supposedly...they had him play a 1-bar pattern, check it for accuracy against a LinnDrum, then loop it throughout the song.

I've always wondered if that ain't just studio lore. However, things like "Stayin' Alive" only have little timbale fills on it. Sad that I've heard it enough to notice these things, ain't it? :oCool Dude
