So I thought I would update. A couple weeks ago, I took these completely apart, and cleaned and relubed everything. Cleaned up the spring in the hat, and relubed that too. I think it made quite a difference!

My wife picked me up some early 70s Zildjian 14" hats for christmas, much better than the B8's and I picked up this 16" cymbal today as an add on in a trade!

I didn't start really working at my drumming until a month or two ago, but I have been coming along fast and loving it!
