I bought this snare from the Chicago Show last year. It still has the Newport paper tag on the inside.

Here is a before and after shot of a fun project.

Any idea what vintage this might be? Also, Im looking for two more tension rods to complete this project.

wow. great job on that. i did a rehab on a late 40's marcher today myself. bought it for parts and just didnt have the heart to seperate the parts! not the first time that this has happened.
