You guys are of course... CORRECT! And that's what I deserve for basing my comment off a cellphone pic. Sinatra Show rehearsal last night, on break, scanning through the posts on the VDF, and well... this is the result. Easy to see it was Slingerland as I look at it now on my 27" monitor! Pretty much same shape/design, but much thinner. So yes indeed... CORRECT! That said though...
... the rest of what I wrote is indeed also correct. Stamped butt piece on the lower line Rogers snare drums, and cast/chromed on the upper line drums... just not stamped Slingerland! Mea culpa! Here's a pic of my 1966 Tower/butt in WMP. It is a beauty... and of course, not Slingerland. GULP!
