Rogers Swan Leg Cymbal Stands Last viewed: 3 hours ago

I am posting this for a fellow vintage drum lover! And heeeeeere we go!

Hey everyone! I recently picked up two Rogers swan leg cymbal stands. They are both in great shape and are nice and clean. I don't know a whole lot about Rogers stuff, so I am hoping you can help me out on a few things.

The stand bottoms (tripods) are identical, but only one has the Rogers sticker on it (see Pictures 1 and 2).

The middle sections are identical in diameter and length, but the top parts of the two (that accept the top tube) are slightly different (see Picture 3).

The top tubes are identical in diameter, but one is longer than the other. Also, the Swiv-O-Matic tilter is the same on both, but they are assembled on the top rod differently (see Pictures 4 and 5).

I really like these stands, and they work fine, I was just curious to know the subtle differences in them. While we're at it: When were the swan leg stands made? Are they considered collectible/popular? Thanks everyone for all of your help on this!

Thanks, nailfoxx for posting this for me; I'll figure out how to post photos someday, right after I master how to program my Commodore 64!

Thanks, Mikey. How can you tell, other than the presence of a sticker or not? The bases look identical to me.

Each stand was in three seperate pieces, so I may not have put the right middle and top sections in to the "correct" bases/middle sections. Do you know which middle section is 60's (square or more keyhole shaped top piece)?

Also, do you happen to know which top rod is which era?

Bump

I know very little about Rogers stuff. I would like to know more info about them. Namely:

Which middle and top piece (in the pictures) are from which era?

What time frame were the Swan Legs stands issued/available?

Were they/are they popular or sought after?

I know this is an "eye of the beholder" question, but what is each stand's approximate worth? If I were to sell or buy one, what kind of price should I expect to receive or pay (assuming good condition like mine)?

Thanks for your help.
