Rogers Super Ten Last viewed: 1 day ago

I have a chance to buy a Rogers Super Ten snare drum. I don't have pictures available. I estimate it's condition to be a 9 out of ten. The serial # is 0988. It looks all original except for the heads and one tension rod. The snare strainer has a "D" stamp so it may not be original. Can someone give me a guess as to what a typical fair price would be? Thanks in advance. Jerry.

They are awesome drums but the important part is what size is the drum a 6and 1/2 by 14 will go for anywhere between 300. and 500 depending on whos after it subtract 100. for a 5x14 these are just estimates but they are not common like a supra....

Thanks for the info Mike. I forgot to mention it is a 14x5 COS. Does having the throwoff stamped with a "D" make any difference? Sorry about my brain fade but I'm an old timer and can't help it. Thanks for anymore info you can give me.

The throwoff is a replacement from a 60s Dynasonic.

The oval badge with that number would be first year, 1973.

150 on the low end, 275 on the high end.

You wont go wrong! I picked up a 5X15 Super Ten for $80 about 3 months ago and it,s now my go-to snare even after playing Supraphonics all my life (BTW,after years of collecting, it's my very first Rogers purchase).

Hi Ploughman I have tried to access your pdf as I'm keen on Rogers Dynasonics. Unfortunately I'm being told that there is an error with the pdf on the Rogers Big R dating Period resource. Can you help please.
