Rogers Starlighter IV T-rods Last viewed: 15 hours ago

Loading...

Hello guys,

If this question has been answered before or if it's in the wrong section then please let me know.

I would like to get 4 replacement tension rods for my '73 starlighter bass-drum (so i can tune the thing without being limited to where the floor allows the bottom 4 to sit!).

Obviously i would like then to have square bolt heads that can be tightened by your standard drum key.

I'm having a hard time finding out what the thread and diameter should be.

Does anyone know whether tension rods for Rogers kits from this era have a standard 7/32" thread (or 12/24unc) and diameter of 6mm?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mole-man

All Rogers tension rods are "standard" 12/24 thread, making it easy to get them at your local store, such as Guitar Center, Sam Ash, or other independent sellers.

Hello Mark,

Thank you so much. That's extremely helpful.

Kind regards,

James.
