Rogers sisters? Last viewed: 13 hours ago

Loading...

I have a Rogers Powertone kit in Butchers Block from the early seventies. However when I purchased the kit it came without the 13" tom that would originally have been included in the kit.

Recently I saw - and subsequently purchased - a 13" tom identical to my kit in the exact same finish, era etc and while the serials are close, I'm presuming that the subtly different design on the labels means they aren't quite sisters?

Any info on the drums and their serials much appreciated!

(The top pic is the new 13" tom and the bottom is my 12" from the kit)

Thanks,

Thunderbird

The serial numbers for 9/72 series of Rogers does not mean much. The letter B is a slightly later year and better indication of the family genealogy. Probably only a year apart.

Sisters of different mothers.
