Yes. The Dynasonic name was used on marching drums. You could buy all the main pieces in the Dynasonic level of construction; snare drums, tenor drums and bass drums as I recall.

This shows up in the sections of the catalog applying to marching percussion in particular.

Since there is not a very big market, demand, or collectablity for 14x10 Dynasonic marching snares, I've always wondered why we haven't seen more of these cut down to 5x14's? With the lacquered interior and shell already drilled for ten lugs, it seems like someone would have tried this in lieu of spending two grand on an original 5x14. Just curious.

Cutting down a marching drum has problems: the re-ring would need to be moved down, the holes for the key clip, grommet etc are in the wrong places and most important, the tom lugs have different spacing than snare lugs.

If a person didn't mind having the extra holes etc, it could certainly could be done. But, the result would be a far from clean conversion.
