Pass. Not worth $900. I might go $400 tops as a player. You can find one that is original in a not so popular finish from that era for around that or not much more.
Rogers Drums
Snare not original USA Rogers. If it has Rogers badge, it is an import drum.
If he can get $900, more power to him. But not from anyone who know Rogers drums.
PASS for $900
I bought a late 60s Rogers Starlighter from a member here for $300. It was rewrapped, no snare and had a memorilock tom holder added (not by seller). He collects Rogers and knows what they are worth, so I am going to have to agree with the prices others have mentioned. Seems that once "molested" that this is the going price. They sound like a million bucks though!

Nice players kit - but it's not really a kit; it's three Rogers drums. To me, the snare is not worth having. Those sizes are though; harder to find. But it's worth maybe $500 tops here in Australia; so $3-400 in the USA sounds right.
Side note - I could live with the finish; but not those hoops. The black just looks wrong to me.
On prices; I bought an excellent condition gold sparkle Powertone snare from a drummer I met on line for $500. But anything not original has got to be sold at big discount for me. Parts are too expensive now.
