I have a buddy of mine who says he has an 18 inch Rogers 360 kick that he'll sell me. The only issue is that there is no badge on it, so I can't tell if it's one of the MIT or the MIJ drums. Are there any other signs that would tell me which one it is? I haven't seen the drum yet but I'd like to know what to look for. He did say it has a rail mount and I figured that the drums from the 80s wouldn't have a rail mount but I haven't seen anything to tell me yay or nay either way. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks.

Many of earlier Yamaha made 360/380 drums had a greyish/green painted interior. They also had different style lugs and mounting hardware. The spur mounts look a lot like American made Rogers in their styling. I would say if it is a true 18 inch and has a rail mount it has a much better chance of being the earlier Yamaha made stuff.

If it's got a rail mount as original equipment, it's got to be a 60's drum...

That's what I figured. Thanks. I'll update this when I get to finally go check it out.
