I have noticed this more and more...
You go to a high-profile website..and they will tell you everything you could possibly want to know about the artist (BB King etc)......but try to find out who the rest of the band is?

In the case of an artist, band members often vary and don't warrant inclusion on the site.
But artists with a steady band will typically include them on their site (Weird Al for example!) Even then, the mentions are usually brief, the best case is finding links to those players' own sites.
