This is a beautiful early example of the Radio King Super Krupa Solid Maple Snare, 5.5x14, Blue Sparkle. 1st Chicago black/gold badge. Shell is in excellent condition, with only minuscule re-ring separation (see photos). Wrap is shiny, minimal darkening, nothing but a few very minor surface scratches (see photos). Nickel hardware has a beautiful satin sheen that does not come through in the photos. Clamshell has the original arm and correct early butt-side tuning knob. Clammy is undamaged and works properly. The CoB sticksavers are the early, heavy Sound King hoops. Tone control knob is nickel. Tension rods are period correct, are more highly polished than the other hardware and may be chrome plated - I simply cannot tell. Puresound vintage wires are present. The drum comes with 2 new Aquarian vintage heads. Remo heads fit fine. This is a beautiful drum that present even better in person than it does in the photos. $399 + shipping.
