Anyone read the new Purdie book that's out?.....I met his son at the NYC guitar center drum off on Tuesday and he had the book with him. He gave me the site to buy the book. I was just wondering if anyone has read it and if its worth the cash....if so..please don't spoil the info....just a yea or nay will do.

I wonder if Ringo has read it.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I only hope it doesn't kick off another round of Purdie/Beatle debates. Purdie is such a great drummer and has contributed so much to the art of drumming that whether he recorded with the Beatles or not is irrelevant. The whole affair just takes attention away from the immense contribution he has made to music and drumming. I hope it's just stories about music and his life.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I'm going to get a copy also. Looks like a good read.

Also a past article where Bernard mentions he'll reveal the Beatles connection in his new book. Not sure of it holds true but we'll find out.
