I am interested in possibly purchasing this kit but am not sure exactly what it is. It appears to be a 1990-94 Premier XPK but I do not see any pics from this time frame with a matching snare (the finish). All of the period matching XPK's have a metal snare. Any ideas?

I think at all points, some music stores did carry XPK kits with matching wood snares. I bought one in white lacquer that came with a snare.

There definitely are XPKs from that period with matching snares, though more often they came with a 1036 COS snare (same hardware). I see them most often in green lacquer.
I'm quite fond of XPK kits from this period!
