Hi,

came across these on one garage sale web, don't have more information than those two pictures as it's a bit far.

Anyone know what those are and what are they worth?

Any info greatly appreciated :)

Welcome to the forum! I don't see anything spectacular in there. Just a plain asian "firewood" set. Keep looking around...I dont know how much are they asking but you can still find a way better set for $400.00-$500.00. Good luck!

Lugs are screaming Pearl to me. MIJ kit..

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

It's a 22", 13", 12", 16" with 14" Snare. It's some sort of MIJ set. It looks like Maxwin, Royce, Thunder etc. Same set different badge. Maybe refinished, wrap removed or something. It's hard to know. I'll bet those cymbals are nice though. They don't look like those MIJ brass plates. I'd buy it if the price was right, I'd be buying for the cymbals. The kit I'd never play or spend money on fixing it. I'd probably sell it and take the first offer of 20 bucks rather than have it at home taking up space.

Yeah, pretty generic Pearl knock off stuff. Not the best ,but can be made to sound good with proper heads and tuning.A good starter kit.

I'm in accordance with everyone else here when i say "cheapo" beginner set.. The give away are those generic lugs, and the obvious luan wood grain.. Looks like someone stripped them and tried their hand at some type of restoration, which isn't worth the time or effort.. Keep looking..

A MIJ kit from the 60's will sound and look way better, and can range anywhere between $150- $400, depending on the condition..

Good Luck in your search..
