Picked up these little beauties yesterday on eBay

Gretsch Bongos

Listed in the 54,55,58 and 61 Catalogs - $36 in the 61 Catalog.

They will need some tender care but I should be able to repair the delaminated layers .........with the help of some of the good folks here.

I hope to pick them up in a couple of weeks. These photos are from the eBay site.

G. bongos are very hard to find.........

I have only had 1 pair ever,and that was around 15-20 years ago.........

They were blue sparkle,and had the small G. tom lugs on them.

The drummer of Stereolab bought them from me when he was at my house.

"Always make sure your front bottom BD lugs clear the ground!"
