Responded to a local craigslist ad about 1hr and 20min away and went picked up this beauty! The gentleman I bought this from said as far as he knew the finish is original except for the hoops which he had stained. Came with Danmar hoop-mount spurs, and brand new Remo Fiberskyn heads. And to top it off…he still had one of the original and fully intact 28" “W.F. Ludwig” calfskin heads, and an old “Remo Legacy LA Bass w/REEMLAR” drum head. Plus a partly original WFL hoop mount cymbal holder (I’ll be looking for parts for this later…I’ll post in the “want” section). Anyways, I’m very excited to have this in my possession! She’s a beaut! And form the same year my grandparents got married…1937.

Very nice and bet it makes a big BOOOM!
Keep in mind the T handles on the tension rods face the player ( not the front) so the player could adjust the sound of the calfskins without getting up.
Enjoy

Very nice acquisition. Looks perfect with those Fiberskyns, but she's begging for a vintage pedal.
