Oyster pearl finishes...was Ludwig the only one?

Loading...

Just curious, when it comes to the oyster pearl finishes (pink, black, blue)...was Ludwig the only company to offer these finishes in the 60s?

I realize that OTHER drum companies have jumped on the band wagon to offer oyster pearl finishes now days...which I despise. Seriously, it just bugs me...but I'll get off my soap box...

Okay, interesting...yeah there are definitely certain finishes that overlapped several brands it seems. Many of the sparkles and also BDP was offered by a few different companies from what I've seen...of course, there could be some slight differences I would imagine. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of something unique to a certain brand.
