i learned a long time time ago if you want it you have to bid it and not with a 2.50 cent margin at least 50 $ over what you think to be safe unless someone wants it worse the other day a bdp pioneer went for 183 u never know !

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Really? I must have missed that one! I do have a mystery pioneer coming in the mail. It is covered in one of the oyster pearl wraps, but couldn't make out which one from the auction pics. It didn't meet reserve so I asked what the reserve was. They said $150 so I pulled the trigger, can't wait to get it. I decided the other day that I'm going to start focusing on Pioneers for my collection...try to get as many colors as possible. I love that drum, sounds awesome and they are affordable!!
