I found a 4 piece shellpack, blac“k wrap or paint, OrangeDrums.

I know nothing abot them.

They are missing some hoops, and have bad heads. Price app 50 Euro ( 68$).

I allready have to many sets, but i this a great deal, or not? Is there any value att all in OrangeDrums? Was they good or bad?

Orange drums were produced by Capelle in France for the Orange company in the mid-seventies when Orange wanted to add drums to their guitaramp-range.

Hand-made in mahogany and with very high quality fittings, I think they are very nice drums. And not often seen.

Many are - orange.

The Capelle company still exists and have been very helpful in providing me with missing parts when I renovated a kit not so long ago. For instance - an 18" floortom hoop with - 9 holes.....And at a quite fair price.

I would buy it ASAP!

No, I didnt. I could, I was talking with woman who sold them. There was only one person who should come and look at them, one hour after our phone conversation. Two days after, drums was still for sale. So I COULD take them , if I wonted to.

But I am in the middle of restautation of my "new" Camco, and I am selling at the monemt my Psycho Red Ludwig OR Slingerland ( because to many drumset). So buye one more projeckt at the moment, didnt feel ok.

But I was posting this url to this set to one Swedih forum ( incl vintage gears) , and hope that someone who like to restore set, will bought it.

Two days (???) after, I see another Orange set for sale, but for 700$. I can not remeber I sew ONCE orange set for sale in sweden, and now I see 2 in 2 days?
