1930? Super Ludwig in Peacock Pearl
I just bought these and haven't received them yet. I'll post better pics and more info when I do. I'll probably be selling them after I profile them in the Winter issue of the magazine in a few months
As always any info concerning these drums is greatly appreciated. I think I have a handle on it but it seems there is always something new to learn.

I'm totally diggin the Peacock Pearl snare. Thats a way cool drum. Nice score on them both!!!!! Way jealous!

Great looking drums! Do you have any idea what the extra hole in the shell of the peacock pearl snare was drilled for? Just wondering.
I think I have drummers wood after seeing those snares.
I don't know. I'm hoping it's where an electric light was mounted.

Was the WFL a sales demo? Really different.
From what I understand, all of the multi sparkle drums were either sales demos for the reps or made for specific trade shows. The guy I bought it from is a pretty good drummer and says it sounds great.
