Old Traps Parts? Need Id/help Last viewed: 18 hours ago

Ok, all of you Trapsmaster Generals out there...let's see what you come up with!

From the depths of an old Slingerland/L&L traps case...Does anyone have an idea what these two parts are? I know there was a Wolf Drum Co....wasn't it Tom Wolf? The part says Ton Wolf so did the stamp not register the right side of the "M" therefore causing the "N"? Let the detectiving (my new word) begin.

Looks like a violin or viola mute, depending upon it's size. If not a mute, it may modify the tone.

Looks good...the metal would not resonate/buzz on the gut...nice going!

Well, it's the Frank Wolf Drum Co...so that "Wolf" theory is done with.

Maybe it holds up music? In 20's trap cases i've often found bizare contraptions used to avoid carrying a foldabl music stand around.
