Yea Man, Great drums beauties for sure, only problem, when they start to go, they go...

I know I had the 73 Concorde 11N, ALMOST PERFECT SHAPE....sorry I ever sold them, but they needed to be in a better climate. Climate control is the key, along with clear covering and cleaning ever month. But all in all great drums...

Steve Maxwell has an affinity towards Slingerland copper drums and has (or at least had) quite a few so he may be able to offer some resto hints.

Thanks for all the input, i hear that's it is not solid copper but plated steel with mite be able to repop it we will see as soon as I do more research.

The corrosion happens under the wrap towards the surface. I have a kit with only a few blemishes and there is not much i could do. The copper shines up nice on the surface when polished.
